Caisleán Óir, in operation since Sept 2009, is a purpose built, state of the art facility offering childcare facilities for children aged 6 months to 13 years, by fully trained staff with relevant QQI qualifications.
Our Centre is fully registered with Tusla and Our preschool is approved under the free preschool year for children aged between two years and ten months and four years six months. Parents also have the option of having full day-care for children aged from three months to thirteen years, from 8am to 5.30pm. During the day children are provided with a full nutritious meal and a varied and stimulating curriculum. After-school services are also available, and offers transport for children from our local national school, Glinsk NS, but we cater for Creggs NS and Kilcroan NS without transport. During the after-school service, children can relax after school and complete some homework.
The Childcare Facility is conveniently located at the rear of Glinsk Community Centre. It is a beautiful, spacious, luxurious and affordable facility. A non-profit making facility, all funds raised are reinvested in the centre.
